ALEX’S BLOG FROM LOWESTOFT 22ND JUNE

It’s been a hectic couple of days in Lowestoft. As well as a number of media interviews – (check out the dailysail.com) we’ve been working on Fujifilm. She needed a bit of clearing up after the heavy sailing from Lerwick!

I’ve been up the mast doing a rig check and repairing the lazy jacks that had been ripped out. We’ve also had to repair the Code 0 sail that had split.

Only a few hours now until we set off on the final leg of the Shetland Round Britain and Ireland Race. 21:05 is our start time. It looks like light and fickle winds for the sprint to Plymouth which should suit Fujfilm – it’s all to play for!
