LOWESTOFT 4TH STOPOVER OF RBI 21ST JUNE

The guys from Sungard met us in Lowestoft with a beer!

We arrived at 21:05, a couple of hours after them and comfortably ahead of the rest of the Class 40’s taking 2nd place. We’re delighted especially after the terrible conditions we had out in the North Sea and a couple of problems on board with the mainsail and autopilot.

After a good night’s sleep we’ve been making a few repairs. The mainsail has another small hole and Fujifilm needs a good tidy up! Apart from that we are all in good shape and just recharging the batteries before our departure tomorrow night and what looks like being a light final leg to Plymouth.
