  • Alex BennettAlex Bennett is an extreme sailor and skilled public speaker. He draws on a healthy level of experience having sailed more than 130,000 nautical miles across some of the world’s most inhospitable oceans. In his talks Alex leads the audience on a journey through his life of adventure, competition and survival at sea. From childhood dreams of exploring beyond the horizon Alex has carved out his own path to sailing success and is living an extraordinary life.

He also uses his experiences for motivational presentations and offers team building and corporate hospitality on the water.

He sailed 4000 miles solo across the Atlantic Ocean in a tiny 21 foot boat whilst competing against 80 of the world’s best sailors. He has survived two dramatic mid Atlantic rescues. One of these was a near death experience onboard the famous Team Philips when the giant, revolutionary catamaran broke up in hurricane force conditions during a north Atlantic winter storm.

Alex also won the Transat Jacques Vabre, the biggest two handed ocean race in the world. His captivating story reveals a different world to the norm, one where total self belief and determination are the essential ingredients required to achieve success.

Alex’s presentations use captivating video and stunning digital imagery to highlight life in the competitive high stakes environment of professional ocean racing.
