Malcolm Dickinson
Malcolm has sailed since moving to the South West 25 years ago. He is an enthusiastic Corinthian sailor, with the added experience of having competed in the last two editions of the Round Britain and Ireland Race in 2002 and 2006. In the last race, he came 2nd in class – only 15 minutes behind the first boat after 22 days of racing! He is well known in Westcountry sailing circles as being the organiser of the Michelmores Challenge Cup, an annual, invitation corporate yacht race which is now in its 20th year and regularly attracts over 300 competitors. Malcolm is also the Managing Partner of leading Westcountry law firm Michelmores, which employs over 300 people at its headquarters on the outskirts of Exeter.
Malcolm lives in the sailing village of Newton Ferrers in the South Hams, Devon, with his wife Jill and their two teenage boys.
